Quarterback Bear Bachmeier shined for BYU, particularly on his 22-yard touchdown run to put the Cougars in front by two possessions.

BYU's defense had Faletau Satuala as the leading tackler. Safety Tanner Wall recorded an interception.

BYU running back LJ Martin carried the ball 26 times for 122 yards in the win.
