About this episode

A new report from the Utah Taxpayers Association shows the hugely expensive costs that recreation centers have on the communities where they're located. But they provide places for kids to learn about the workforce and adults to exercise and play. Malah Armstrong, Vice President of the Utah Taxpayers Association, joins D2 to break down this report and help our communities think more critically about investing in recreation centers. Also joining the show, Salt Lake County Council Member Aimee Winder Newton, sheds light on the other side of the issue.
