If you have not yet celebrated Lunar New Year, you might want to head to UW this weekend. The Chinese Student Association is throwing a big celebration on Saturday night, including performances, calligraphy, a scavenger hunt and more. There will also be plenty of tasty treats like BBQ pork buns, bubble waffles, and plenty of types of tea. The fun starts tomorrow at 5:30 but you aren't gonna want to miss the music and dancing at 7.

Westlake Park will be having a Lunar New Celebration on Sunday, starting at 10 am.

It's a big weekend for beer!
The Seventh Annual Winter Beer Festival is Saturday from Noon to 9 at the McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell. 32 beers and ciders will be on tap, including brews made from the McMenamins Anderson School. Nothing goes better with beer than good food and live music, both of which will be at the festival. 35 dollars will get you in at the door.

Also on Saturday, the Winterhop Brew Fest is going on in downtown Ellensburg, WA. 30 breweries, local vendors, local food and multiple venues are part of the Brew Fest. If you were looking for a reason to check out Ellensburg, here's a perfect excuse to do so.

Plenty of things going on in Seattle this weekend, if you missed out on what's going on, check out mynorthwest.com for my recap.
