King County's two adult jails are still operating under COVID protocols, and are refusing to accept most suspect bookings. The county says this is due to an unprecedented staffing crisis. But the president of the King County Corrections Guild said staffing solutions are intentionally ignored to meet the King County Executive's goal of abolishing jails.
