As President Trump and Elon Musk's DOGE have made major cuts in that department, it's brought concern from more liberal lawmakers and several leaders of various states. But Utah's Governor Spencer Cox is fully behind the full dismantling, writing in a new opinion piece that it's about "returning power to where it belongs: to states and local communities."
