Former Arizona Cardinal Wesley Leasy has filed a notice of claim against the City of Phoenix and Mesa, seeking a million dollars in damages.

It stems from an incident when Mesa PD detained Leasy and his daughter at gunpoint while looking for a shooting suspect.

Leasy and his daughter were not related to that shooting.
