President of the Arizona State Troopers Association is warning against increasing the weight of commercial trucks. Trooper Jeffery Hawkins met with members of Arizona's congressional delegation in Washington, D.C. He says increasing truck weight by 11,000 lbs. would create a hazard on our roadways when DPS is already facing a trooper shortage.
