Abel had been playing football since he was 9 years old and his dream was to play for the NFL. After having extreme knee pain following his football season last year, he was told to go to Phoenix Children’s right away. At 14 years old, he was diagnosed with metastatic osteosarcoma, a kind of bone cancer.
