The Valleywise Health System celebrates the opening of the last vacant unit for in-patient behavioral health. The behavioral health hospital in Maryvale now has a 192-bed capacity plus an emergency department. Valleywise purchased the building in 2018 for $7 million and have spent roughly $100 million renovating it into the hospital it is today.
