Arizona will lose 18% of its Colorado River water allocation next year, as decided by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Arizona Department of Water Resources Director Tom Buschatzke says more cuts are likely as the basin states are up against a summer 2026 deadline to negotiate new operating guidelines.
