The three lower basin states, Arizona, California and Nevada, have come to an agreement on how to conserve more than 3 million acre feet of Colorado River water over the next 2 years. Arizona is committing to a 27% mandatory reduction of its Colorado River supply or 10% of the state's total annual water use.
