July 1 marks the beginning of a new fiscal year in Georgia. That also means a whole host of new laws go into effect. This year, measures ranging from new technological school safety  tools to a measure allowing wrongfully prosecuted or convicted persons to be reimbursed for their legal costs, take effect very soon.
