Darren Ho has never been afraid to push the limits. A pioneer of Hawaiʻi skateboarding in the 1970s, Ho landed a professional contract with Town & Country while still a teenager. As a trailblazer who helped revolutionize the sport, he competed around the world and experienced an entire professional career before turning 21. His contributions earned him induction into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame and the Hawaiʻi Sports Hall of Fame. In this episode, Ho reflects on skateboarding's early days, the highs and lows of finding success at a young age, and the sport's remarkable evolution from rebellious pastime to Olympic competition.
