Sheri checks in from Utah after her mom woke up suddenly unable to see from one eye and wound up in emergency surgery for a detached retina. The good news: Mom is recovering. The slightly less reassuring news: Sheri's tenure as a nurse continues as she's in charge of caring for both her mom AND Kevin.
