A family is suing Wayne County Judge Kenneth King after he ordered a teenager into jail clothes and handcuffs during a field trip at the courthouse. Dr. Rema-Vassar, a professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Wayne State University, called King's response to the incident inappropriate.
