The Wayne State College of Nursing has trained about 600 individuals in Mental Health First Aid protocols through a $1.5 million grant. Plus, a bill introduced in the state House would require commercial health insurance plans to cover long-term treatment for brain injuries from diseases, strokes, and falls.
