Dean Dr. Ahmed Radwan of the College of Health Professions at the University of Detroit Mercy is hoping to bring more first-generation students to the private university. He tells WDET's Nargis Rahman what additional support the university provides to help students that need more structure, and how having those systems brings diversity to the campus—and eventually, to various professions.
