The Michigan Independent Citizen Redistricting Commission is hosting in-person public hearings in Detroit this week about new maps the body created for several state House districts in metro Detroit. Plus, Michigan’s county roads and bridges need approximately $2.4 billion more in annual funding to remain safe, according to a report released today by the County Road Association of Michigan.
