A new exhibit highlighting iconic jewelry worn by hip-hop artists throughout the genre's 50-year history opened last month at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The exhibit, titled "Ice Cold: An Exhibition of Hip-Hop Jewelry," is based on the book by Oak Park native and author Vikki Tobak. Toback joins "The Metro" to talk about the exhibit and her connection to hip-hop. Also, Detroit Parks Coalition Program Director Yvette Pullom-Bass joins the show to talk about what's on the docket for the local nonprofit.
