Today on "The Metro," founder and executive director of Birdie's Bookmobile Alyce Hartman joins the show. The organization is celebrating Donate a Book Day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Eastern Market. Donated books will be distributed to Detroit kids throughout the year.
