The PBS TV show has grown since its 2001 start to multiple shows, platforms, magazines, recipe books, and other products. Currently, they are traveling the nation with a fun live show experience, which sold out its Salt Lake Show this October. Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of November 7, 2025. November’s Box Office is launched with an excellent film, “Nuremberg, ”a powerful retelling of the post-WWII trial of what remained of Nazi leadership. Also wildly entertaining is “Predator: Badlands,” which crosses over with the Alien franchise in an intriguing way. 

For streaming, Andy Highly recommends “Death By Lightning” on Netflix, which tells the little-known story of President James Garfield and his remarkable and unexpected candidacy for the presidency, and assassination. On Peacock, “All Her Fault” will snag you in the first scene, about a mother whose son disappears, and then bring you along as the story slowly releases new details over eight episodes.

And for a family feature, Netflix has "Dr. Seuss' The Sneetches," an animated musical adaptation of the beloved children’s book featuring a tale of the two Sneetch tribes who hate each other only because the other has a different mark on their bellies.

A cute new movie worth adding to the annual family Halloween rotation is "Stitch Head," which is kind of a mix of "Monsters Inc" & "Frankenweenie.” But the new torture film, “Bugonia" is a big fat F- from Andy, for pretentiousness, violence, and being a total waste of time. For streaming, Netflix has something in between the good and the bad with "Ballad of a Small Player" starring Colllin Farrell in the depths of gambling addiction in this R-rated mystery crime thriller.

Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of October 25, 2025. This is a week of contrasts with one of the worst movies Andy’s seen this year, and one of the best.  Also, there’s a kids' show on Disney+ for “Frozen “and LEGO fans. 

"Regretting You" wastes talented up-and-comer McKenna Grace in an overly melodramatic adaptation of a Colleen Hoover novel.  Andy said the obvious pun is, "The only thing I REGRET, is seeing this!" But he also admits it could be a teen girl's favorite movie. 

On the other hand, Andy thought Ethan Hawke was excellent in "Blue Moon"; the story was interesting, as was the subject matter, setting, and pretty much everything. The biopic tells about the partnership between Broadway's Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, as Hart tries to save face during the opening of the now iconic musical, “Oklahoma!” 

Finally, the family-friendly pick of the week: "LEGO Disney Frozen: Operation Puffins" wich combines the magic of “Frozen” and LEGO.

The new movie featuring Keanu Reeves, Aziz Ansari & Seth Rogen is a slow-burning comedy that gets even better once you think about it. Also in theaters, the historical thriller, and faith-fueled, story of "Truth & Treason” is the true story of a teenager who paid the ultimate price to stand up for his conscience in WWII-era Nazi Germany. Andy even sat down with the film’s writer and director, Matt Whitaker, to discuss the new film in this ‘Movie Show Digital Extra.’ Finally, Roald Dahl's "The Twits" gets an animated Netflix feature, including lots of departures from the book's story, but it's still kind of a weird mix of fun (and plenty of bodily function jokes).
