As Charlotte, North Carolina finds itself in the national spotlight after a young Ukrainian woman was murdered by a violent criminal who had been arrested 14 times prior, republican mayoral candidate for the historically blue city, Terrie Donovan,  joined the John Curley Show to discuss the sudden spotlight, the pattern of soft handed sentencing and what she would ask of the President if he offered to intervene in the city with a population of just under one million, saying, "Mr. President, we need Jesus Christ right now.  Please send whatever help you have."
