Our nation seems to be stuck in an age of rage and a season of unreason – where the cancer of contempt is undermining our confidence in our country and unraveling not only our trust in the institutions of our constitutional republic – but fraying the fabric of trust we have with each other as neighbors and fellow citizens. Many so-called leaders have resorted to political finger-pointing or finger wagging, while others have simply shrugged their shoulders saying “It’s not my job!” Two people who have taken a decidedly different direction to driving elevated dialogue and re-enthroning respect for human dignity are our friends Tim Shriver and Natalie Gouchner.
