Ms. Nelson from Asbury Elementary

Ms. Nelson from Asbury Elementary

I am a Kindergarten teacher in Denver! I am about to begin my 18th year teaching, but have only been in Kindergarten for 2 years and am still building my classroom. My goal is to create a student-centered, hands-on, engaging environment for all kids. I also believe in play based learning. To achieve this, we are in need of materials like manipulatives, art supplies, legos and other building tools, and lots of books! We are so grateful for any support our community can share with us.

I have been teaching Preschool and Kindergarten with Aurora Public Schools for the past 18 years. I work with a population that is majority low income, and second language families. These families usually have a difficult time bringing even the basic school supplies their students need to learn. I want to not only make sure that my students have what they need to learn, but that I set up an environment that is a warm, welcoming, and clean space to come to each day!

I am a new teacher. After working 20 years in legal compliance I felt my calling was teaching. We are a wonderful k-12 public charter in Jefferson County. I have AMAZING students! As a charter, funds are alwa6s limited. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for adoring these kids as much as I do with your support. Anything helps! We love books and I believe reading leads to success in all facets of life.

Mrs. Bergquist from Prairie Crossing Elementary

I teach second language learners and need simple things like a better pencil sharpener, notebooks for students, crayons, and colored pencils as well as laminating sheets for my mini laminator as I'm always creating learning activities for my students. I will have about 40 students this year, including several who do not speak much English.

Ms. Biebrach from Clear Sky Elementary

I teach 4th grade, which means I run on coffee, chaos, and whatever pencils haven’t been snapped in half by 9 AM. I’m building a classroom that feels like a second home one where we start mornings with STEM bins, magnetic tiles, and big creativity, and dive into book clubs that make reading feel like reality TV. My list includes flexible seating (because the floor isn’t always the vibe), classroom supplies (we burn through them like popcorn), and fun rewards to keep the hype alive. Every item helps create a space where kids feel seen, excited, and ready to learn even on Mondays.

Ms. Taylor from Clear Sky Elementary

Ms. Taylor from Clear Sky Elementary

Ms. Taylor teaches second grade at  Clear Sky Elementary – this is Ms. Taylor's first year teaching, and she is excited to begin her career in education! Since she is starting fresh with a new classroom, her wishlist is comprised of a bunch of items that will be useful to both her and her students as they kick off the school year!

Our list is super fun because it’s a two for one! My mom and I teach together and would be sharing the materials on this list. I’m on my seventh year and my mom is in her 26th! We love second grade! Our list includes bins to update our libraries, clocks, fidgets for our kiddos to spend their earned tickets for behavior on and much more. We would truly be thankful for anything and appreciate the support we receive!

Mrs Henry from Murphy Creek

Mrs Henry from Murphy Creek

Mrs Henry just moved from teaching first grade to fifth grade at the same school, and she's thrilled to see the same kids again. Her wishlist is a little longer than usual because of the move! She wants to make sure fifth grade stays fun and engaging, so she's included art supplies and community-building games to help build a strong, creative classroom environment. There are also some teacher organization tools on her list to help herstay on top of everything, and a selection of chapter books for something new she's excited to try called First Chapter Friday.

Ms. Whalen - Highline Academy

Ms. Whalen - Highline Academy

This is my second year as a 6th grade math teacher and my 19th year teaching. We learn about fractions and decimals, which have their own difficulties, but graphing! Oh boy. Students transition from just one quadrant in 5th grade, to all 4 quadrants in 6th. They have to learn how to count on the negative and positive number lines. Plot points. Find the distance between points. Find reflections of points. Having these graphing boards and markers will keep the students focused on the counting and plotting and not on drawing graphs!

Ms Thomas - Independence Elementary

Ms Thomas - Independence Elementary

Ms. Thomas is a kindergarten teacher at Independence Elementary in Aurora, Colorado

She has taught there for the past eight years, serving at a Title I school where many of her students come from low-income families. Teaching in this community is incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with challenges, as resources are often limited. Clearing her Amazon wish list would be life-changing for my classroom. It would provide essential supplies that directly support her students learning and give them the tools they need to thrive.

Every pencil, book, and learning material would help my students achieve their fullest potential and make our classroom a place where curiosity and success can flourish. These supplies also help them become excited to come to school and learn. Clearing her list would directly impact dozens of bright, eager young learners who deserve every opportunity to succeed.
