A pottery vessel stolen more than five decades ago was returned to Kolomoki Mounds State Park in early May by an unidentified man who told employees, “I believe this belongs here.”
The item is one of at least 120 artifacts stolen from the park in 1974, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
