Who remembers the BJ and Bill Show all those years on WOLZ. The boys had so much success on FM radio for so long and everyone has a Podcast, why not them too. Many have told them how much they miss the show. We’ll now they are back. Only this time it’s BJ and Bill The Podcast. This is the podcast about nothing. Just two guys talking about the good ol’ days, life and what’s it’s like getting older.

This week, lots of health-realted stuff for BJ and Bill. The latest on Bill's eye surgery-recovery (gonig well, thanks), and both BJ and his wife having their own issues. No doubt about it, getting old sucks. Not recomended.
But that's not all. There's also a couple of not-so-hot takes from the boys about the WNBA, and the influx of new college talent...and that means to established players. Its a very "interesting dynamic," ad they say...

This week - how the heck did BJ watch 11 HUNDRED miles of racing, all on one day? No, of course he didn't attend the races, but his posterior was firmly planted on the couch for both the NASCAR race of the day, and the Indy 500. Whew!
Along with that, a big discussion of the all-important topic (for us "older folks")... how much "stuff" is "too much stuff?" We're talking abourt all the knick-knacks, stuffed animals and everything else that accumulates through life. Tune in for a deep-dive on the subject! ...and it's funny, too.

This week, a few tears shed from both the boys, as the NBA seasons of their beloved Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers (respectively) have some to an end. Ah well, baseball season is in full swing (pardon the pun!) and football is on the horizon.
Also, some interesting talk about getting older and marking important birthdays as they pass. BJ had exactly that this past week, and it brought up some interesting feelings for him. Keep in mind that he was always told how his various health challenges would be a real limiting factor on his life and healthspan... yet he continues to live life to the fullest. Dare we say, a good lesson / teaching for all of us!

This week, a very special show with a special guest. For anyone who listened to BJ and Bill in their original environment, back in SW Florida at Oldies 95 FM radio, we're sure you'll know our guest... it's Stan, from the Stan and Haney Show!
For those who don't remember, the Stan and Haney Show was on opposite BJ and Bill during what's called "morning drive time." It's the most important, biggest money-making time slot of the day for any broadcast radio station. The competition between the two shows - BJ and Bill and Stan and Haney - was always fierce.
Yeet here's the cool part. It's all - as they say - "show business." There was a lot of mutual respect between thte two morning programs, even as they fought it out on the air for listeners.
This week, Stan shares his memories of those days, what he's been up to lately, and a lot more. Super-interesting stuff, for sure.

It sounds like something from a bad old TV sitcom, but it’s this weeks up-to-the-minute show: BJ and Bill, mostly complaining about the “joys“ of getting old.
For Bill, it’s a trip to the eye doctor and a possible surgical procedure coming up. For BJ it’s an update on his sleep doctor Status.
Face it, it sucks to get old, and the boys have a front row seat to all of it this week.
In addition, however, there is some fun and interesting stuff on sports, including the Masters golf tournament, and the upcoming NBA playoffs.

This week, Bill gives the details on his big move ... all the way across town in Gainesville! Yeah, not a big deal, but it's a new chapter of life, and a little bit of excitement regardless.
As for BJ, there's also some home changes... more like remodeling or uipgrading his current digs. Again, just more good stories, and it leads to a good discussion with one of those "money no object" ideas... where would you live, if you didn't have to worry about "small stuff" like money, family ties, work, etc. How does Key West sound?
Sadly, there's also some talk about the loss of another former radio personality from SW Florida. Seems like it's getting to be a regular story for BJ and Bill ... not just losing people from old "radio days," but family and friends from all walks of life.
