Who remembers the BJ and Bill Show all those years on WOLZ. The boys had so much success on FM radio for so long and everyone has a Podcast, why not them too. Many have told them how much they miss the show. We’ll now they are back. Only this time it’s BJ and Bill The Podcast. This is the podcast about nothing. Just two guys talking about the good ol’ days, life and what’s it’s like getting older.

BJ is having some home remodeling done this week, so the show is being recorded on a different day than usual... Not that it matters to the listeners, but there are some home and life updates for BJ.
As you know, BJ is getting help in finally writing a book about his "interesting" life! We get a little update on that, and we're hoping to get the "ghost writer" on the show soon, too
Bill also has some big changes in the works.. he's moving - across town - in Gainesville, were he lives. Scratching a little of that "wanderlust" itch he's talked about.

It's been a while since we've had a "medical show," of the podcast, no? Well, there's no more need to wait, BJ has (yet another), new fun story of his ongoing medical treatment "journey." While it's all safe for any audience, it's mostly us "senior citizens" that will connect with everything that's going on... and yes, there's plenty of good humor in it all, as well.
Other items covered: The upcoming NBA playoffs, and also the upcoming WNBA season. How will the ladies do, now that all the hype over some huge superstar rookies has cooled a bit?

This week... it seems BJ has been using his chat and interview sessions with the writer of his upcoming book as "therapy sessions." It's actually a very interesting talk about more (previously unknown) parts of BJ's history and super-interesting story, from childhood medical issues, familiy support and more.
As always (it seems like always, anyway), there's some radio history... and lots more. Bill remains over-the-moon happy about his Cleveland Cavaliers hoops team, heading into NBA Playoff time. After being a Browns football fan, this is a very, VERY welcome upgrade.

Yikes... two old men talking about getting old... again! Funny, but true: As we all get "up there" in age, isn't that the main topic of conversation, just about everywhere? Well, this week the boys have some of that, but thankfully, it's not the entire show. How fun woudl that be?
There's some sport talk, too, but a lot of it has to do with cable TV and how to get the best sports channels without paying too. Much. It's almost time for Bill's streaming-TV "summer break," where he puts his expensive streaming service on hold, at least until football season starts up again in the fall.
After all, summer is coming, and there should be better things to do that just watch TV, right? Righs??! Let's hope so...

Football season is over... but NASCAR season is revving up! And while this isn't a sport-related podcast, BJ and Bill are big sports fans. Well, BJ is definitely the NASCAR guy, so there's some talk of that, for sure.
In addition, there's talk of an "experience" that was very popular "back in the day" of BJ and Bill's work on the radio in SW Florida. We're talking the late-night, local drinking establishment and their wet t-shirt contests! Is that even still a thing? Or has it gone the way of the dinorsaur, never to be seen again? Maybe the boys are just too old to have any recent experience with that... probably a good thing! Still, the memories are great, as always...

Some really big news on the podcast this week, and we're not talking about football! Well, there's some football chatter later in the show, but this is someting completely different. BJ has finally - after years of prodding by his family and his old partner Bill Stevenes - finallly found himself someone who is going to help him write his life story down in a real, live, available-on-Amazon book.
Of course it's just now in the planning and negotiation stages, but that's a big development, for sure! Can't wait to see and read the finished product. We'll keep you updated.
And yes, there's some football talk on the shwo as well. Only the "big game" is left to play, in two weeks, between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Should be fun, to see KC going for the "three-peat."

So much to talk about this week! As this podcast was being recorded, the US was getting a new / old / recycled President. So there's some talk on politics, even though both the boys are not strongly connected to any particular ideology. God bless us all...
