Andy's KSL-TV #WhatToWatch: ‘Faith of Angels’ is a filmed-in-Utah family-watch of the weekend
Description

Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of September 13, 2024. "Faith of Angels” is an inspiring and uplifting story about the search for a 10-year-old boy lost in a Utah mine.  This movie, filmed in Utah, is an excellent choice for a family to watch. On the other end of the emotional spectrum, we've got "Speak No Evil" with a terrifying (and shockingly buff) James McAvoy making sure his houseguests don't leave without saying goodbye (or just DON'T LEAVE!) The violence is off-the-charts in "The Killer's Game," a Dave Bautista-led action comedy where a hitman hires people to kill him before he dies of a terminal illness, then changes his mind and fights them all off. And over streaming on Netflix, Joey King headlines "Uglies" as a girl in a dystopian future who can only get the surgery that will make her pretty if she finds a friend who's run away to join a rebellion.

The brains behind Fan Effect are connoisseurs of categories surpassing nerdy with a goal to publish a weekly "What to Watch on the Weekend" minisodes, taken from KSL-TV's Friday segment, and two deep-dives a month on shows, creative works, artists, local events, and other fandom topics.

Based in the beautiful beehive state, Fan Effect celebrates Utah's unique fan culture as it has been declared The Nerdiest State in America by TIME, and is hosted by KSL Movie Show's Andy Farnsworth and KSL Podcasts' KellieAnn Halvorsen.
