Seems to me that recently states here in the United States, have passed a record number of laws that attack LGBTQ rights, especially for transgender youth. Last time I checked this was America. Land of the free, Greatest Country in the World! (Turns out that slogan was made up by the same firm that coined the phrase "Ham and Eggers" And "Milk, Does a Body Good".
America is supposed to be a beacon of freedom and democracy, with values, such as individual liberty and equality, superior to those of other nations. It's not.
How can you say you love America, when you continually try to hurt Americans?
The Constitution speaks of "All Men", and all Women, all races, all religions, and YES, all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people should be able to live openly without discrimination and enjoy equal rights, personal autonomy, and freedom of expression and association. Remember that the pursuit of happiness, in the Declaration, is not a quest or a pastime, but "an unalienable right.". We all have a right to pursue happiness.
